50 CENT PROMISES TO RETURN TO "FIGHTING" SHAPE FOR FINAL LAP TOUR

Rap mogul 50 Cent has committed to getting back into "fighting" shape for his upcoming world tour, the Final Lap Tour.

Although he has consistently kept up with his workouts, 50 Cent admits he no longer maintains the same sculpted physique from his early career. Acknowledging the demands of his extensive tour, which starts in less than two months, he pledged to return to top form.

During an Instagram Live session on May 24, 50 Cent shared his plans, "I always work out, but it’s different when I gotta start running and all that... I’ma show y’all [on] Live every day. Yeah, I’ma do five miles in front of ’em every day. I’ma lose at least 25 pounds before [the tour]. I’ll be back in dog shape before I go."

The Final Lap Tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of 50 Cent’s acclaimed debut album 'Get Rich or Die Tryin’.' The tour starts on July 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and will travel across North America until September 22, stopping at major cities including Toronto, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, and 50’s hometown of New York City.

The European leg of the tour begins on September 28, with performances scheduled in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, and the U.K. Busta Rhymes and Jeremih will be joining 50 Cent on the North American leg of the tour.

50 Cent revealed on Instagram Live that over 500,000 tickets have been sold within a week and suggested this could be his last tour. He expressed his desire to visit more global markets, including Australia and Africa, before retiring from touring, due to commitments in film, television, and other behind-the-scenes endeavors.
