BEYONCÉ PENS EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE TO THE LATE "QUEEN OF ROCK’N’ROLL" TINA TURNER

Beyoncé has composed a touching tribute to the late Tina Turner, the acclaimed Queen of Rock’n’Roll, who passed away this week at the age of 83.


Beyoncé, who famously performed with the “It’s Only Love” singer at the 2008 Grammys, posted a heartfelt open letter on her official website on Thursday (May 25). In the letter, she acknowledged the significant influence Turner had on her own career and the careers of other Black women in the music industry.


In her moving tribute, Beyoncé wrote, “My beloved Queen, I love you endlessly. I’m so grateful for your inspiration, and for all the ways you have paved the way. You are strength and resilience. You are the epitome of power and passion. We are all so fortunate to have witnessed your kindness and beautiful spirit that will forever remain. Thank you for all you have done.”


Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Lawson, also honored Turner with a heartfelt Instagram post. She reminisced about the day Beyoncé first rehearsed with Turner for the Grammys and the joy and excitement that ensued. Lawson highlighted the strong resilience of Turner, particularly her ability to reinvent her career in her mid-40s, and the lasting impact she had on the world.


Tina Turner, born Anna Mae Bullock, passed away peacefully at her home in Küsnacht, Switzerland, on Wednesday (May 24), as confirmed by her official Instagram page. Her legendary music and powerful legacy will continue to inspire artists and fans worldwide.
