ABOUT OMAR APOLLO AND GOD SAID NO:

God Said No marks a significant evolution for Omar Apollo, blending his tongue-in-cheek take on love and life with influences from artists like Kate Bush, Lana Del Rey, and Giorgio Moroder. Executive produced by Teo Halm, the album explores the emotional aftermath of a turbulent relationship, with Apollo recording the bulk of it at Abbey Road Studios.

After his Grammy-nominated debut album Ivory and a whirlwind of tours supporting SZA and Billie Eilish, Omar retreated to London for inspiration. Mining poems by Mary Oliver and Ocean Vuong, he crafted God Said No, a project that promises to be his most raw and immediate work to date.
