DRAKE CONFIRMS NEW PARTYNEXTDOOR ALBUM DURING SURPRISE PERFORMANCE IN TORONTO

Canadian rapper Drake made a surprise appearance at PARTYNEXTDOOR's concert in Toronto, together announcing the forthcoming release of a new PARTYNEXTDOOR album.

The surprise appearance by the '6 God' at the intimate Thursday night concert (May 25) sent fans into a frenzy. Dressed in a North Toronto Hockey jersey and the icy Concrete Boys chain that Lil Yachty recently gifted him, Drake performed his verses from the hit "Come and See Me" off PARTYNEXTDOOR 3, and their 2014 collaboration "Recognize".

In a thrilling moment for the fans, Drake sang, “I’m going on tour, PARTY dropping PND 4,” hinting at the upcoming album from PARTYNEXTDOOR. He later posted a photo on Instagram with PARTYNEXTDOOR, captioned “Welcome Home King,” further fueling the excitement.

PARTYNEXTDOOR added to the speculation about the new album with a cryptic Instagram post of his own, simply captioning it "4." He also shared photos of himself with Noah “40” Shebib in the recording studio, suggesting active work on the album.

The upcoming album will be PARTYNEXTDOOR's first since his 2020 release, Partymobile. Although he has remained relatively quiet since then, he has been gradually resurfacing. In December, he featured on Diddy's track "Sex in the Porsche" and released his solo comeback single, "Her Old Friends."

Meanwhile, Drake continues to break records on Spotify. According to Chart Data, Drake became the first artist on the streaming platform to surpass 80 billion streams earlier this week. This significant milestone was reached, in part, thanks to his latest single "Search & Rescue," which has already garnered over 100 million plays on Spotify alone.
